The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.) These were the three sons of Noah, and from them came the people who were scattered over the whole earth.

The Bible makes reference to the sons of Noah. It talks of Shem Ham and Japheth. It goes on further to confirm to us that Ham was the father of Canaan, the ancestors of the Canaanites who occupied the land of Canaan where God had directed the children of Israel to inherit. But scripture also reminds us that the whole world would find its genealogical heritage through these three sons of Noah. All of us are descended from them.
