Jacob minced no words concerning Benjamin. He would be a tribe skilled and courageous in war. The tribe of Benjamin produced the first king of Israel, Saul and even the apostle Paul. Benjamin was a tribe known to have many skilled warriors. The courage that they showed in many situations was second to none. In the book of Judges, a story about Benjamites is mentioned with reference to their ability to support and be there for each other. Some of them had performed dispecable acts and had run to the city of Gibeah. When the other Israelite tribes sought to get the culprits, the people of Benjamin united and resisted the campaign. In many ways, Benjamin were warriors just as Jacob predicted.
