And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Matthew 8:3-4 KJV
Christ said ‘I will. Be thou clean!’. Christ is compassionate to us. He answers our prayers not because we can give Him anything but because He is God and desires the best for us. When we truly call upon God in the time of trouble, He answers us. He never lets us down. He however requires that we be thankful to the One who heals our diseases. Think about it…how many times have we thanked God just for allowing us to see the day? Even before testifying before others, God expects us to be thankful to Him.
