Our life's patterns transformed by God's grand story

…the Centurion

And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
Matthew 8:7‭-‬9 KJV

We sometimes underestimate the power of proclaimed faith. We at times don’t give much concern to instances in our lives which demand our faith. The everyday mundane acts which signify our faith; we sit on seats HAVING FAITH that they’ll hold us, we get into public transport vehicles HAVING FAITH that the driver is qualified, we live in houses HAVING FAITH that the engineers did a great job. Our lives are dotted with instance of faith applications albeit in small ways. If we can have faith in normal mundane things of life, how much more faith need we display in Christ? This was the conviction of the centurion. This should also be our conviction when we make supplications to God in prayer.
