One stark reminder is not to underestimate the author of sin… The devil himself. He’s been there formenting sin and rebellion since time immemorial. He’s goal is to corrupt God’s creation and turn it against Him as much as possible. This was the genesis of sin in the world. Sin through Adam and Eve. We are however still reminded by this passage about the day of the harvest….the day of judgement. The day when all of us will be gathered by His angels and stand before the Righteous Judge. This is a call for us to stay put, to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. To remember that even the author of sin and rebellion will be judged. However for those of us who choose to believe will be redeemed and be rewarded with a heavenly reward.
