And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judæa beyond Jordan; And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

Christ was the people’s magnet. If you wanted to know where it was all happening, it was all happening around Christ. People were being healed, demons were being cast out, the lame were walking. He had a tremendous level of love and compassion for people. That’s why wherever He went, people followed Him. People always seemed attracted to Him. They were drawn to Him because of the concern He had for them. See, people have the ability to see into your heart. If all we do is driven by selfish motives, they’ll see it. However, Christ genuinely loved people. So much so that His fame spread across vast expanses in an age when there were no mobile phones. He could cross over into foreign regions like Judea and Jordan and multitudes would gather, He could go yonder to the coasts of Tyre and Sidon and masses would congregate, He could move to the areas of Caeserea Phillippi and crowds would assemble. He was a man whose mission was to serve people and in all ways and He did serve them diligently.
