Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Christ speaks out against despising little children. He opens our eyes to know that all of us have angels responsible for our lives in the presence of or Father in heaven. We matter before God. So much so that He designates angels to have responsibility over our lives in His presence. Christ doesn’t mention clearly how these angels work on our behalf. However, since angels are ministering spirits, they must be used of God to minister to us in times of need. We all as people have a need. We are depraved because of sin. Christ has come to seek and save us who are lost. He also ministers to us in the time of our need.
