A quick-tempered person does foolish things, and the one who devises evil schemes is hated.

When we act in anger, we are driven by an impulse to hit back. We are driven by a desire to inflict hurt on others. Such is the with a quick tempered person. He acts impulsively driven by a quest to satisfy his angry drive. The result as scripture puts it is doing foolish things. A parallel seems to be drawn between this kind of person and one who devises evil schemes. Nothing good comes out of action driven by anger…only evil. This is a stark reminder to us.
