Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.
Proverbs 22:24-25 NIV
Here the book of Proverbs speaks about associating with people who’re hot tempered. A hot tempered person spreads his anger easily. It is very contagious. Haven’t you noticed that if you associate with people who’re very critical and negative, you also develop the same kind of attitude as them? Verse 25 gives us the result of such an association…you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared. It highlights to us the outcome of a hot temper…being ensnared. Being trapped. Being regretful after acts committed out of anger.
