The Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he met Moses at the mountain of God and kissed him. Then Moses told Aaron everything the Lord had sent him to say, and also about all the signs he had commanded him to perform. Moses and Aaron brought together all the elders of the Israelites, and Aaron told them everything the Lord had said to Moses. He also performed the signs before the people, and they believed. And when they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.
Exodus 4:27-31 NIV
Aaron was instructed by God to proceed to the wilderness to meet with Moses. The Lord had told Moses that He would enable Aaron to help him in his work and this He did. God keeps His word. But also God confirms His word to those He chooses. So the two made their way and presented themselves to the elders of the Israelites. They managed to convince them that the Lord had sent them to deliver the people from slavery. God had given Moses a responsibility and had also been preparing the hearts of those who would support him. Yes the work was challenging but God made a way. Isn’t it the same with us when we face tremendously challenging tasks? At times we don’t know how or where to start. However, as we walk in God’s guidance, He places people along our way who help us see God in the picture. Wherever God sends, He enables.
